I am really stranded in Nigeria because I forgot my little bag in the Taxi where my money, passport, documents and other valuable things were kept on my way to the Hotel am staying, I am facing a hard time here because i have no money on me. I am now owning a hotel bill of $ 1550 and they wanted me to pay the bill soon else they will have to seize my bag and hand me over to the Hotel Management., I need this help from you urgently to help me back home, I need you to help me with the hotel bill and i will also need $1600 to feed and help myself back home so please can you help me with a sum of $3500 to sort out my problems here? I need this help so much and on time because i am in a terrible and tight situation here, I don't even have money to feed myself for a day which means i had been starving so please understand how urgent i needed your help.

I am sending you this e-mail from the city Library and I only have 30 min, I will appreciate what so ever you can afford to send me for now and I promise to pay back your money as soon as i return home so please let me know on time so that i can forward you the details you need to transfer the money through Money Gram or Western Union.

You got your point there. And you should stand by it.

But nah, I ain't stopping people from criticising about politics in their blog. I only mentioned that poverty stricken people who blog about it will mean so much more than the common bloggers. I'm mainly concerned of the genuinity and honesty of the blogger, how much politics concerns him/her, or whether he/shes just a 'sheep' of one side influencing others along.

This is my own personal opinion, that if I'm a reader, I would rather read the genuine content than the sheep's.

bodicea: I feel you, and concur. : )

Just a note, please try not to over-generalize, like what you did before, next time.

bodicea: Then be a politician, and really make a change. I believe that criticizing about politics in blogs is a same old story that it never ends. Just beware that once you're into politics, you know you somehow gotta play dirty to achieve the good intentions you want.

bodicea: I believe that to make a change, it's not about how much you have to consciously create to make a change. Sometimes, it's about influence. Sometimes, it's about how much you make do with what you already have and can do.

Personally, the sole study of the subject called Politics bores me. To become a politician, I lack the determination to put in the effort to care for a big community. Hence I doubt I'll ever want to be one.

My interest here is not about changing politics or creating/changing/implementing laws. My concern is the balance of the ratio between fairness and unfairness in a land where integrity and harmony are promoted, especially since equality seemed to have had a greater meaning when the country's independence from the British colony was fresher.

I think all critics have their value. It's only a matter of how constructive they are. Sometimes I don't see the point of commenting on an article altogether, because it should be able to speak for itself.

From what I see, it's no longer about who can make a change. It's why is there still no obvious change for the better.

To stop people from criticizing about politics in blogs because it seems redundant and endless, is akin to discouraging people from sharing opinions when they strike. I talk about politics only when I have a strong opinion about the subject of matter.

And critiques happen because the problem(s) (still) exist(s).

Some problems may seem old. But history tends to repeat itself and often in a different package.

And people sincerely criticize because they care.

Conflict is the mother of progress.

If you want to play dirty (for "good intentions"), at least be aware who and what you're playing with. And who can see you while you're at it.

Well, honestly speaking, its the same old story that never ends. People criticizing and not actually offering a good solution. And when they have a solution, they're not in power to execute it because of BN. Opposition parties are just becoming stronger opposition parties and not convincing revolutionary leaders.

The people who should honestly be blogging about politics are the people living in poverty in Malaysia. Their lives are most heavily affected by it. Not us, were just scumbags.

bodicea: I'm afraid I have to oppose what seems to be a generalization which you've made. I don't think those who care enough but are not doing anything significantly big about the shit that is going on in Malaysia, are "scumbags". At least, not me. And those who aren't of legal age to vote and/or run in a party, too.

At least some people try to let others know that they care and want a change, which I believe they would do their best to make it happen, only when they have the chance and means.

This whole flag issue is just another distraction point for them to use against us in order to cover up the dirtier side of Malaysia.

We do need a vendetta to heal.

We also need people who are actually willing to take action and stop nagging.

I happen to be nagging a lot.

'Seriously, Malaysia needs a vendetta to heal.'

lol

just like the whole issue of making cakes with the flag on it. the government needs to worry about more serious issues in our country than just their flags. what's the point of a flag if the country sucks anyway? nobody wants to wave it around proudly.
